What is a natural environment?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The natural environment encompasses all living and non-living things occurring naturally, meaning in this case not artificial. The term is most often applied to the Earth or some parts of Earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a biome?<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A biome is a collection of plants and animals that have common characteristics for the environment they exist in. They can be found over a range of continents<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the different biomes around the world?<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

grassland<\/strong>, forest<\/strong>, desert<\/strong>, and tundra<\/strong>, though some of these biomes can be further divided into more specific categories, such as freshwater, marine, savanna<\/strong>, tropical rainforest<\/strong>, temperate rainforest<\/strong>, and taiga<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Grasslands are areas where the vegetation is dominated by grasses. However, sedge and rush can also be found along with variable proportions of legumes, like clover, and other herbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Forest biomes are made up of trees and other woody plants. … These groups are tropical, temperate and boreal forests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) The desert biome covers about one-fifth of Earth’s surface. This biome has a layer of soil that can either be sandy, gravelly, or stony, depending on the type of desert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) The\u00a0tundra\u00a0is the coldest of the biomes.\u00a0Tundra\u00a0is found in the regions just below the ice caps of the Arctic, extending across North America, to Europe, and Siberia in Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natural environments are important to both individuals and societies because they are both interdependent with each other, as the environments provide the individuals and societies’ resources, the societies maintain the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. What impact do humans have on natural environments?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I mentioned in the last question humans or societies have to maintain the environment for resources, because if the environments is not maintained or taken care of, there will be a shortage of resources. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
