They are divided by the difference in their cellular structure. There are 5 different animal kingdoms &#8211;&nbsp;Monera,&nbsp;Protista,&nbsp;Fungi,&nbsp;Plantae&nbsp;and&nbsp;Animalea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1) <strong>Animalea <\/strong>are eukaryotic and not have a cell wall. They have a hormonal and nervous control system; they are heterotrophic which means the can eat and digest food. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The animal kingdom contains many phyla. Some of them are:\u00a0<br><strong>Vertebrates, Arthropods, Annelids, Molluscs, Nematodes<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/biology-igcse.weebly.com\/uploads\/1\/5\/0\/7\/15070316\/5493027.png?616\" alt=\"Picture\" width=\"997\" height=\"301\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2) <strong>Plantae<\/strong> are eukaryotic and multicellular. They have a cell wall; they are autotropic which means they use photosynthesis to make their own energy. Some parts of a plant are green, thanks to pigment\u00a0<strong>chlorophyll<\/strong>. Chlorophyll absorbs\u00a0<strong>energy<\/strong>\u00a0from sunlight for plant to make\u00a0<strong>glucose<\/strong>, using\u00a0<strong>CO2<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>H2O<\/strong>\u00a0from environment. This is called\u00a0<strong>photosynthesis<\/strong>. They also have a unique gas exchange system; they take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/biology-igcse.weebly.com\/uploads\/1\/5\/0\/7\/15070316\/424955_orig.gif?0\" alt=\"Picture\" width=\"328\" height=\"392\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3) <strong>Fungi<\/strong> are eukaryotic and are also multicellular like animals and plants but unlike them, fungi can be unicellular as well. They have a cell wall and they are heterotrophic and saprotrophic which means they can digest food and are also parasitic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/biology-igcse.weebly.com\/uploads\/1\/5\/0\/7\/15070316\/5249536.jpg?511\" alt=\"Picture\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4) <strong>Protista<\/strong> are eukaryotic and have a cell wall. They are both unicellular and multicellular; they are heterotrophic and autotrophic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a the structure of a Protista<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www2.estrellamountain.edu\/faculty\/farabee\/biobk\/euglena.gif\" alt=\"Biological Diversity 3\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5) <strong>Monera<\/strong> are prokaryotic and unicellular. They do not have organelles which are seen in eukaryotes. They are very small compared to most eukaryotes; they also have cell walls and are autotrophic, they use photosynthesis and chemosynthesis to get energy. Some monera can carry out photosynthesis.
